The New School is excited to announce that our friends at Cubify generously donated a Cube 3D printer to IDC 2013. So we hosted a contest to give away one of their very awesome Cube 3D printers. To enter, attendees were encouraged to submit photos of themselves with the Cubify 3D printing minstrel who were available all 3 days of the conference, along with their name, a note about their dream 3D printing project, and hashtag #IDC13 to Google+, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
At the conference closing on Thursday, June 27th, the winning entry was awarded to Aaron Lee Morris, by Mohamed, Susan and Hamidu, the 3 students from Sierra Leone that presented in the Keynote. The winner was given a promo code to redeem for a free Cube printer online.
